Thai Handicraft Clothing
Surely if you were linked to this page of my website, it means you have already seen some of the merchandise I am offering you, well in this case you have seen me too, because I am the one wearing most of the ladies ’clothes. Now I just have to introduce myself, tell you why I finally decided to open this handicraft shop online, and of course what I hope to get out of it.
First of all my name is Chaa, I am a young Thai girl,and although I now live in Phuket, whichis a island, I come from the North-East side of Thailand, from a region called Isaan. In my country most of the people are farmers, there are small trading enterprises, dealing mostly in handicraft and clothes, of course there is some of the big industry around Bangkok; and last but not least we have inner landscape and fascinating seascapes and therefore a lot of tourism.
Phuket is one of those places where people love to come because of the beautiful beaches and because Thai people are very friendly, plus the cuisine is very good, and of course because it is still cheap to live here compared to the USA or European standard.
So I noticed that many people come with just a change of clothes in their suitcases, spice up their wardrobe and fly back home, with fully packed suitcases, full of course of newly bought clothes.
When I finally noticed it, I thought that it might be a good idea to give people around the world the chance to do some nice shopping in Thailand, without being here.
I thought about it quite a bit, and once I stopped thinking that it was a mad idea, I started to ask for help to my friends, because I did not know a thing about internet for a start, never saw a computer before, but once I decided to give it a try it was not hard to get the help I needed, and so I started my adventure. When I got a bit familiar with the internet business I had to decide what to do with it, meaning what to sell and so on. I finally decided that clothing and handicraft items would be my business, because I had some of it, and so off I went to the north of the country.
I must say I did not think that I would have to walk all that much, it was indeed tiring, but I went on because I felt sure that only with a lot of looking around I would have finally gotten the right things: I mean clothes made from natural materials, with the wonderful colours that represent the landscape of my country, from the browns resembling the sand, to the greens that remember the colour of the forest, such colours that you do not find alike in other country, and of course in a style that is typical of the far east.
I was surprised myself by the variety of the things I saw, and here I am in my shop online to give you the chance to see what I bought, hoping that girls and women from around the world appreciate it and want to do some shopping.
I selected mainly clothes that are free size of course, so there will be no problems of fitting, as I show in another page, clothes made of cotton which is a practical material, easy to wash and iron. I tried to choose pants and skirts unique in the style, clothes with a striking look but an easy wear, pretty for young girls but also for women who like to dress casual, for all those ladies who like to look charming, exotic, when out for a dinner party or in their free time at home: whenever they do not want to look like the girl of the next door.
Besides the clothing I also would like you to look at other items I have in my shop: handbags, purses and belts that might be used as necklaces as well, because of their particular handmade and beautiful look. These articles although presented with the clothing as fashion accessories, may be bought separately if you wish.
So here I am: ready to start this new business with eager expectancy. I know I would not be able to keep trying without the help of friends who encourage me, help me to manage the web site and to translate to the English language; but mostly I know that I will go no far if you do not like and buy my merchandise, and therefore I’ll welcome whatever advice you might want to give me.
